Artist's Comments
A picture I've been working on for quite some time now. I drew the original scetch a few months ago before my hell-trip to England, then I've slowly been digitalizing it over the past few weeks or so. I had artist's block over the shading with it, so I ended up revising my whole meathod of digital shading, which took me a while 
Still, I've finally finished it, which is a relief 
I drew this pic after I had written a small fanfic oneshot about younger Gaara practicing his Kanji. He decides to draw the symbol for Suna (sand), and then ends up running all over his village looking for someone to admire his acomplishment at writing a Kanji from memory. No one is interested, so he ends up attatching the paper to a pillar of a manor house so all can see the Kanji, and he stands under it for the rest of the day so everyone can see who drew it.

Kanji is one of the Japanese writing systems. It's the most difficult to learn as there is a different symbol for each word. Still, the symbols are fun to draw ^^
