Once again, I come bearing apologies for my disappearences. I did the same last year around this time of year though, only I didn't re-appear again for over five months I think it's the summer heat... it kills my artistic inspiration

So! This will be quite a long journal entry, covering most things that have been going on in my life. There will be both good news and bad news, then random news.

Dad's Operation

Well, we've found our specialist, and we're happy with him to do the operation. My Dad will be going into surgery around the end of September, so expect me to disappear a lot around then. I'll keep you informed on his progress after the operation... if all goes well. Now, allow me to explain JUST what is wrong. Warnining: lots of medical talk here. I will do my best to explain it all.
My Dad has an Anurism on his Aorta Artery. An Anurism is where the Artery walls begin to expand, and will eventually burst. The Aorta Artery runs from the heart, down the centre of the body, then splits into two to run into the legs. Now, it would be quite a simple procedure if there was only one Anurism, however, we have discovered that there are THREE. One on the main artery, then the other two directly below it on the two vavles that go to the legs.
Yes, this makes things WAY more complicated, and WAY more dangerous.
I'm not completly sure of what this procedure is exactly, but I think they will be taking the Anurisms out of the arteries, then replacing the arteries with some man-made ones. Ok, that's all I can explain for now. I will answer any questions anyone has about the procedure if you're interested.

Artwork

Well, over the past two months or so, I've been changing my art style AGAIN. I've now started placing some realism into my Anime artwork, mostly influenced after playing WAY too much ' Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones'. I wanted to draw the Dark Prince, tried drawing him in my usual art style, then ended up scrapping it. I then tried drawing both Princes in this new style, and I ended up liking it. So, expect some new artwork from me some time soon hopefully.
Still, artwork may be slow. I can't do much during the summer. I sweat tons to try to stay cool, and I hate using my tablet at such times. Bah, we'll see how things go At least I have the next 'Tales of Oblivion' ready for digitalizing, and an idea for the one after that

Fanfictions

I'm sure a few of you may know that I was starting my own Oblivion fanfic, which has remained nameless until now. I do beleive I have settled on the title 'In the Shadows of Dragons'. Why? Well, there will be dragons in the story, and plus I can shorten that to 'SOD'. For those of you who don't speak English as a first language, I must point out that 'sod' can be used as a swear word. Example 'That sodding idiot'. I use it quite a lot

Now, I DO have chapter 2 of 'SOD' finished, however, I still have to send it to Carlota for beta reading. I'm not sure if her current internet connection will like the size of the file though

Plus I'm having slight writers block on chapter three. So, until I get that planned out, I've been messing around writing random oneshots that will remain under lock and key I'm just doing anything to keep writing really. I'll be putting chapter one up of 'SOD' once I've finished chapter three... I'll be staying two chapters ahead of what I post just incase major writer's block hits

Gaming and Fangirling

Over the past two months, when I havn't been drawing, working or writing, then I've been playing! I finally finished the ' Prince of Persia' triology, and have now replayed 'The Two Thrones' over twenty times now Yes, this is where I'll admitt that I've turned into a Dark Prince fangirl !!!!!! No, I don't like him as much as I love Gaara... but I can't help drooling at the screen when he's on it Plus I quote him at every chance I get.

I've also got two new computer games! One is the Spore: Creature Creator. I've been having fun with that trying to make some dragons. Unfortunatly, none of them work out to my standards, so the only two creatures I have saved is a scorpion-like creature, and a four-winged Gryphon.

The second game I got was..... ASSASSIN'S CREED!!!!!! God, I love that game I had the spazz of all spazzes when I found out that it had come out for PC!! I was in tears the first time I heard about it and found out that it was only on PS3 and Xbox Now I'm in love with it I might do some fanart of it one day...

Other random stuff

F1: Bah. lewser hamijerk (Lewis Hamilton) needs to crash and die. Seriously. Yes, I know he keeps winning. Yes, I know he's supposed to be the next Senna. Of course I know all that. The Hamilton Show (ITV F1 coverage) makes sure that we all know every BLOODY detail about his life. What about the other drivers? No, I'm not about to suggest that they start going on about Ferrari all the time. As much as I'd love that, it wouldn't be fair. The other drivers need some love.

Especially Massa. Poor guy... leading the Hungarian race, then having his engine blow with only three laps left to go Yes, I cried for him. I get really emotional over F1 races... (Sasha will know... she was staying with me on that weekend. She's lucky I didn't make her sit and watch the whole race with me )

Ohh! I finally got to watch '300' Awesome movie, once you ignore all the topless women. The blood... the gore... the violence... I ended up skipping around singing because I was enjoying all the fighting so much

Ok, yeah. I'm just going to give everyone a quick rundown of stuff that has happened these past two weeks. I'll do a more explanatory journal sometime next week hopefully.

Ok, first off, I can't walk. I recently fuffiled my lifelong dream of getting a hammock, and I decided to spend yesterday afternoon lounging around on it reading 'Squire' by Tamora Pierce. I originally intended to just read one chapter, but I ended up reading five, by which time, I had burned badly in the sun. Well, only my left side is burnt. The hammock is on the naya, so I'm half in the sun and half out of it. Yeah, I look funny now... espeacially with the two white circles around my eyes because I was wearing my sunglasses Oh, and don't expect any artwork or indeed anything from me for a while. Turns out my Dad need serious surgery. I'll explain why next week, but the whole thought of having to go through ANOTHER life-threatening surgery with him this year has just drained me physically and mentally. I've got block on everything, including my modding, so for now, my free time is spent either reading or shooting things on 'Call of Duty 4'. Shooting things always cheers me up.

Ok, time for the excuses to my disappearence For starters, my house mod is taking up WAY more time than I expected, especially seeing as I'm re-texturing nearly everything in it What? I'm a perfectionist.
Along with that, I've taught myself how to use Blender, and even mannaged to get a modified guard cuirass into the game (which I had a mini party over seeing as it kept disappearing in my first attempts to put it in Oblivion ).

After modding, I've been working. A lot. And panicking. Why? Because my Dad might need ANOTHER operation. Yeah, Jocobai wants to scream obcenities at that. Right now, we seem to have two options for the operation though. One we can do here in Spain, which will only need a week stay in hospital, but will then need regular checks. The second will probably require another LONGER trip to England... and up to half a year to a year recovery time, but it should clear the new problem up once and for all. If I'm lucky though, he can have the operation doen here in Spain, so I might be able to stick around. I'll be sick if I have to go to England again. I HATE THAT COUNTRY. I'M NOT ENGLISH ANYMORE!!!!! I'm...... Ferrarish

I am still artworking though... a Neji picture in progress right now. I'm plotting on submitting some of my random doodles that I keep doing though. My artwork is improving a lot I think Keep an eye on my scraps... I'll put them there if I get them scanned (so you can all laugh at my attempts at realism )

Oh! And I've started an Oblivion fanfic. Just need a title for it...

Yes, the Jocobai needs to be slapped for constantly disappearing off DA. However, now I've finished the pics for ~Cole-Regnum , I'll hopefully be back to my usual artwork ^^. I'm currently working on linearting a picture I scetched a few weeks before my trip to England a few months ago, and I have several new pics already scetched and waiting to be digitalized

So, my list of 'Needs Doing' is back to 'Digitalize Pictures' and 'Finish new Oblivion House Mod'. Oh, and somewhere in there is 'Do more Oblivion comics. (I might be starting a series on 'Oblivion Cribz', an idea that ~elessedel came up with , and if anyone likes the idea, a set of comics on 'Jocobai's adventures in Cyrodiil'

Artwork wise, I am behind. I'm having some problems with my digital colouring and shading at the moment, so scetches that I did a few months ago are still being linearted. However, I'm putting all my digital artwork on hold for a while until I've finished doing the Character Concept art for ~Cole-Regnum

Work wise, I'm very busy. I'm still catching up with the work I missed while I was in England ><!!!! Still, I think I'm getting there slowly.. life should be back to normal soon. I'm enjoying my Japanese lessons A LOT! My Japanese teacher is awesome, and I'm having tons of fun learning how to write in Hirigana and Katakana.

Formula 1 wise, I'm in a murderous mood towards hami-jerk (my nickname for Lewis Hamilton ). If anyone out there supports Ferrari (especially Kimi Raikkonen), then do tell me!! I need more friends who like the F1 (Poor Sasha-chan has to hear me rant about it otherwise !!!!!!!)

And good new that has just come in these past few minutes: I finally got my Naruto Manga 24 !!!!!!!! Jo can stop being in manga withdrawl now I can drool at the Kimimaru vs. Gaara fight now !!!!! Now where did I put my drool bucket.......
